Ken Coleman is an African American writer originally  from  Washington D. C. and currently residing in North Carolina.

 

 

 

 

 

Memories Vision was inspired by a biography about Ella Fitzgerald. Towards the end of the documentary there was about a minute of Ella’s son, Ray Brown Jr., praising his mom. He was obviously very proud of who she was and what she had accomplished. When he finished she added, “I wasn’t a very good mother.”
